i have a major sushi fixation lately. to be more precise, veggie rolls, miso soup, and seaweed salad. and i'm eating lots of ginger. the hippy/biochemist in me knows that when you crave something, you probably need some nutrients that are contained in it. and sushi is healthy enough for me to eat on my new diet without feeling any guilt. i would eat it every day if i could, but i still need to learn how to make it so i don't break the bank.
highlights so far: oslo, sala thai, nami, and of course black pine tree out by the 'cube.
lowlights: kroger sushi. the guy who makes it is nice enough, but it's like eating cold pizza. something about it is just not right.
favorite spots? cheap rolls/daily specials? tips for making it yourself (nori rolls)?
